Francesca Beach, the latest addition to Glynns’ team of experienced solicitors, attended this year’s SCIL Conference and Exhibition Day last month with high expectations of being inspired by the talks, informed by the exhibitors and gaining valuable insight in discussion with other SCIL members.

She left with even more.

Following this illuminating day, Francesca was delighted to discover that she had been the winner of the prize draw offered by INNEG, specialists in sourcing medico-legal experts.

The delightful prize of a Selfridges hamper was accompanied by a prize of even greater value – a donation from INNEG to CBIT, the Child Brain Injury Trust, in Francesca’s name.

Another successful conference continues to highlight the work which SCIL carries out, day after day, month after month and year after year.

With a membership of around 80 specialist clinical negligence legal firms, of which Glynns was a founding member, SCIL, the Society of Clinical Injury Lawyers, works tirelessly to improve aspects related to clinical negligence law and the implementation thereof, for the benefit of both the practitioners of this complex field of law as well as for the clients who depend on the expertise of their specialist legal professional.

Errors can occur across an astonishing range of medical specialties and during an extensive variety of procedures, from diagnosis to surgery, from risk assessments to medication administration.

Understanding the complexity of such occurrences and the myriad of ways in which a patient’s life can be undermined requires extensive experience and expertise.

If you or a loved one are struggling with the impact of negligent medical care, it is essential to speak with a clinical negligence specialist.
