After almost 40 years in the legal profession, Paul Honess, senior solicitor, has retired.
Paul’s career has taken him from Birmingham to Devon and, more recently, to Bristol and North Somerset, as solicitor, senior solicitor and partner, developing his expertise in many and varied aspects of the law with a significant focus on personal injury and clinical negligence.
For the past 10 years, Paul has been a big presence in the Glynns’ offices and his retirement will leave an irreplaceable gap in the life, work and atmosphere here at The Old Piggery. A reliable source of legal (and sporting) knowledge, thoughtful analysis and incisive wit, Paul will be much missed by his colleagues and clients alike.
As a recent client observed, ‘Paul has been a pleasure to work with.’
However, retirement will give Paul more time to indulge in his many interests outside work, particularly his passions of cricket, snooker and Northampton Town Football Club. Winter at Glynns will not be the same without the regular appearance of the team scarf.
