Last year, Glynns Solicitors focussed its charitable support on the cancer ward of the Bristol Royal Infirmary.

This year, we will be supporting Penny Brohn UK.

Our involvement with Penny Brohn UK began a couple of years ago but we have been so impressed by their work and commitment that we have decided to make the organisation the focus of our charitable donations this year.

Penny Brohn UK, based in Bristol, provides support to people affected by cancer with their ‘Bristol Whole Life Approach’. This approach to cancer care incorporates a range of core values as follows:

• ‘We see every human being as a whole person, made up of mind, body, spirit and emotions.

• We work with compassion and care to provide a safe and supportive space for all.

• We see each person as a unique individual with their own set of hopes and needs.

• We reach out to embrace individuals and communities who have not previously engaged with us.

• We work with openness and integrity.

• We work in a collaborative way with each other and our partners.’

The holistic care provided by Penny Brohn UK is deeply inspiring and we are proud to be supporting them this year.
