Chris Bird
Qualified as a solicitor in 1991.
Chris specialises in the management of clinical negligence (also referred to as medical negligence) and personal injury claims at all levels. His specialist areas include complex clinical negligence claims, employer’s liability claims and catastrophic injury claims.
Chris is an experienced lawyer and has been a longstanding Personal Injury Panel member, a scheme endorsed by the Solicitors Regulation Authority to demonstrate expertise in the management of personal injury claims.
Before joining Glynns Chris worked in complex and serious criminal litigation for the Crown Prosecution Service and also as a partner for a law firm in the South West of England.
John Gomersall
Qualified as a solicitor in 1998.
John has specialised in personal injury litigation since qualification. Having trained formerly with a leading West Country practice, he has considerable experience in the management of personal injury claims in both the County Court and the High Court.
His particular interests are in occupational disease claims, to include asthma, asbestosis, vibration white finger, noise induced hearing loss and work related upper limb disorders.
His specialist practice areas are employers liability, occupational liability and road traffic accidents.

Julie Glynn
Qualified in 1980 as a solicitor.
Julie founded Glynns in 1983, having trained formerly with a leading national law firm. Her experience centres on personal injury litigation with a particular interest in employers liability, product liability and public liability claims. She also specialises in professional negligence actions.
Julie is an enthusiastic advocate and appears regularly on behalf of clients at all levels, to include regulatory prosecutions, inquests and in the County Court and the High Court.

Lucy Winzer
Qualified as a solicitor in 2004.
Lucy is also a qualified nurse. She became a nurse in 1986 and worked in specialist units at major London teaching hospitals. During her nursing career her specialist subject was cancer care.
Lucy trained with a leading London law firm before moving to the West Country to work.
Lucy deals exclusively with clinical negligence claims at all levels. She has an extensive knowledge of medical issues including the appropriate use of medication.
Her specialist areas are gynaecology, cancer diagnosis, orthopaedics and general surgery.

Sarah Bryant
Sarah Bryant has been working in the field of clinical negligence (medical negligence) for over 10 years. She has worked for a large national practice and has substantial experience of clinical negligence work, working in both the High Court and the County Court.
She has dealt with a wide range of cases including birth injury, hospital acquired infection, orthopaedic and oncology claims. Sarah has experience of complex claims involving substantial awards of compensation.
